Children's Museum of Evansville
Opened in the fall of 2006, the Koch Family Children’s Museum of Evansville, also known as the Children’s Museum of Evansville, is dedicated to engaging the curious minds of children in the community of Evansville in Southern Indiana. The museum is comprised of four main galleries with over 18,000 feet of exhibits for children. The four main galleries are Work Smart, Live Big, Speak Loud, and the Quack Factory and a multimedia theater.
The children’s museum is a great place for field trips and birthday parties as it not only engages children in fun, hands on activities, it is also an educational experience. Memberships and tours are offered on a regular basis for all ages. Activities range from digging for dinosaur bones to visiting the Big Bank where children can learn to handle money.
The whole museum is designed for children to be an engaging, hands-on learning experience that teaches various subjects through action. The Koch Family Children’s Museum is an excellent family activity for parents to learn with their child.
