Children's Museum of Indianapolis
The Capital City of Indianapolis is home to many wonderful sporting venues, attractions and museums. Some of the finest are Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. This incredible museum, established in 1925 by Mary Stewart Carey, is the world's largest children's museum.
The museum has grown throughout the years to encompass 472,900 square feet, with over 120,000 artifacts. It remains one of the most-respected museums for children, in the United States. The hands-on, engaging exhibits make learning fun for the whole family in Indianapolis.
Dinosphere, SciencePort, Hot Wheels for Real, and the SpaceQuest Planetarium and the five-story Fireworks of Glass sculpture, are just a few of the wonderful exhibits located throughout the museum's five levels. Be sure to schedule plenty of time to see it all.
